The Honda Activa e: has started reaching dealerships. We contacted several dealerships across the country and got to know that the electric scooter has arrived in a few dealerships in Bengaluru, Karnataka. According to our dealer sources, the electric Activa will be available in Delhi and Mumbai by the end of March or April 2025.
Earlier, Honda announced that it will install new swapping stations in three cities – Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai. This includes 250 battery swapping stations in Bengaluru. After Bengaluru, Delhi will get a network of 150 swapping stations and Mumbai will get 100 new charging stations which will be functional from April 2025.
More about the Honda Activa e:
The Honda Activa e: has a mid-mounted electric motor which makes a peak output of 6kW and 22Nm. The electric scooter accelerates from 0 to 60kmph in 7.3 seconds (claimed). The electric scooter also has 3 ride modes: Econ, Standard, and Sport. The electric Activa is equipped with two swappable 1.5kWh battery packs. It delivers a combined range of 102km per charge (claimed). However, battery packs of the Activa e: can only be swapped at Honda’s dedicated swapping stations as they are not compatible with any home charger.
The Activa e: is available in two variants: standard and Honda RoadSync Duo. The standard variant has a 5-inch TFT display along with an all-LED lighting setup but misses out on smartphone connectivity features. The Honda RoadSync Duo variant features a 7-inch TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity features including music control, call & SMS alerts, navigation, live tracking and OTA updates
