Hero Vida VX2 Electric Scooter Teased, Featuring Ranbir Kapoor & Anil Kapoor | BikeDekho TechTricks365

The Vida VX2 will be launched on July 1, 2025

Quick News Highlights

  • The Vida VX2 has been teased again

  • Spy shots of the scooter had surfaced earlier

  • The scooter could be priced around Rs 79,000 (ex-showroom)

Hero Vida has dropped a new teaser for the upcoming Vida VX2 electric scooter. The teaser features Bollywood actors Ranbir and Anil Kapoor as a father and son duo, similar to what they have played on screen.

In the teaser, we can see both arguing about getting a new EV or a petrol-powered scooter. The new teaser goes well with the earlier one, which had implied that the upcoming Vida VX2 will combine aspects of both EV and petrol-powered scooters, dubbing it ‘EVOOTER’.

The upcoming Hero Vida VX2 will be an affordable electric scooter, which looks like a rebranded version of the Hero Vida Z. The Vida Z was showcased at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, and it had a simpler design compared to the Hero Vida V2.

The upcoming scooter is expected to feature a simpler set of features. As per the spy shots, we can see that the scooter has a smaller digital console compared to the 7-inch TFT that’s offered on the Vida V2. The smaller console could likely be given as part of the cost-cutting measures meant to make the scooter a lot more affordable.

Vida has also given the scooter a joystick controller on the left hand side switchgear, to navigate through the menus. We expect the scooter to offer features such as smartphone connectivity, for turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts etc. Lastly, the scooter also gets a traditional key setup, instead of the keyless start that we have seen on the Hero Vida V2.

The scooter will feature a telescopic fork and dual-shock absorbers. It will roll on 12-inch wheels at both ends, and feature a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear most likely.  Overall, with the simpler features the scooter has on offer we expect it to come at a lower price than the Vida V2. It could come at a price that is around Rs 79,000 (ex-showroom).
