Hero MotoCorp has launched the updated versions of its three highest-selling bikes in India. These bikes are the Super Splendor XTEC, Glamour, and Splendor Plus. The main highlight of all three models is that they meet the new OBD-2B emission rules. The brand has not changed the design or added any new features to the upgraded models. However, the engines now follow cleaner norms and are slightly more expensive than before. Let’s take a closer look at each model.
2025 Hero Super Splendor XTEC
The 2025 Super Splendor XTEC price starts from Rs. 88,128 for its base model, which is the drum brake variant. On the other hand, the disc brake variant is priced at Rs. 92,028 (ex-showroom). If we compare the prices with the previous models, the updated models are Rs. 2,000 more expensive.
The Hero Super Splendor XTEC bike now has an OBD-2B compliant 124.7cc air-cooled engine. It produces 10.72bhp at 7,500rpm and 10.6Nm torque at 6,000rpm. Moreover, it comes with a five-speed gearbox, like the earlier version.
The Hero bike looks the same as before. It comes in the same four colours: Matt Nexus Blue, Matt Grey, Black, and Candy Blazing Red. Features include an LED headlamp, digital display, and Bluetooth connectivity.
Suspension includes telescopic forks at the front and dual shocks at the rear. The top model has a disc brake at the front and a drum at the back. And, the base variant has drum brakes at both ends.
2025 Hero Glamour
Hero has also launched the updated Glamour with OBD-2B compliant engines. The drum brake variant now costs Rs. 86,698, and the disc brake version is priced at Rs. 90,698. Similarly, both have gone up by Rs. 2,000.
The bike has only internal changes for OBD-2B compliance but has similar specifications. Glamour uses a 124.7cc air-cooled engine that produces 10.39bhp and 10.4Nm of torque. The bike still uses a five-speed gearbox.
Hero Glamour has an LED headlamp, digital console, hazard lights, USB charging, and a real-time mileage indicator. The disc brake model comes in three colours: Candy Blazing Red, Techno Blue Matt Black, and Black Metallic Silver. The drum version has one extra shade – Black-Sports Red.
2025 Hero Splendor Plus
Hero has also refreshed its best-selling model, the Splendor Plus. It now comes in five new variants, and all of them meet OBD-2B norms.
The base model, Splendor Plus Xtec Drum, costs around Rs. 79,000. The top-end version, Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0, is priced at Rs. 85,500. This version offers LED lights and a Bluetooth-enabled digital cluster.
The Hero Splendor Plus bike has a 97cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that generates 8bhp and 8Nm of torque. While the power remains the same, the engine now follows emission guidelines and is possibly more fuel-efficient.
There are no major feature changes except in the Xtec 2.0 variant. It includes modern tech for better daily use. Still, the Splendor Plus remains simple, strong, and easy to maintain.
