Publisher LEVEL-5 and developer LEVEL-5 Osaka Office will release a “Nintendo Switch 2 Edition” of social slow-life RPG FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time, the companies announced. A release date was not announced.
The Switch 2 version will run at a higher resolution and frame rate compared to the Switch version, according to the game’s official website.
Users who own the Switch version of FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time will be able to purchase a “Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Upgrade Pack” to upgrade to the Switch 2 version. The upgrade pack will cost 300 yen in Japan. Pricing for the west was not announced. The Switch 2 version can also be purchased individually for 7,978 yen in Japan, while the Switch version is priced at 7,678 yen.
LEVEL-5 did not announce any plans to release a standalone physical edition of FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time for Switch 2 in Japan, where the game will be available physically for PlayStation 5 and Switch.
FANTASY LIFE i: The Girl Who Steals Time is due out for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam on May 21 worldwide.
