India’s two-wheeler sector has seen some interesting news and developments in the past week. Starting from the launch of the upgraded version of India’s most popular family scooter, everyone immediately became interested. Launch of 2025 Honda Activa
Honda added a tonne of new features to their most well-liked scooter. A brand-new 4.2-inch TFT console with smartphone connectivity and other features has been added to the 2025 Honda Activa. Additionally, the scooter has an engine that is now OBD-2B compatible. The price that customers will have to pay is not that high in light of all these changes.
Launch of Royal Enfield Scram 440
In India, Royal Enfield also introduced the Scram 440, a motorcycle with a bigger 443cc engine. An increase of 1.2PS and 2Nm is provided by the bored-out version of the Scram 411’s engine. Spy-shots of Next-gen KTM RC 390
Last week, spy testing of the next KTM RC 390 took place. The RC 390’s next generation will use the same 399cc liquid-cooled engine. It generates 46PS and 39Nm, the same as the Duke 390 and has sharp bodylines inspired by the bigger RC-8C. Additionally, a 6-speed gearbox, a slip-and-assist clutch, and a bi-directional quick shifter will be included with this bike.
Launch of 2025 Honda Livo
In India, Honda launched the upgraded Honda Livo. Now, it has an OBD-2B-compatible engine, an LCD display, and three new colour schemes in two new variants—Disc and Drum. Regarding its powertrain, it is equipped with the same 109.51cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine. It generates 8.7 bhp and 9.3 Nm. Additionally, this setup is connected to a 4-speed gearbox.
Ola Begins the Production of Roadster X
Ola Electric has begun production of its Roadster X electric motorbike. An electric motor with a maximum output of 11kW and a top speed of 124 kmph powers this model. There are three battery packs included with the bike: 2.5kWh, 3.5kWh, and 4.5kWh. Moreover, the 4.5kWh battery pack has a stated range of 200km.
