EEVE is preparing to unveil Willow X, a humanoid-style garden robot you literally teach by example, no programming needed. Simply demonstrate a task once and Willow X copies you; repeat a few times and she’ll execute it autonomously.
With a planned price of just €8,990, a fraction of the €40,000 cost of comparable humanoid robots, Willow X makes personal robotics radically more accessible.
The launch is set for this summer, with pre-orders starting as of today at eeve.com and first deliveries planned for August–September.
Wesley Lorrez, EEVE CEO, says: “Willow X makes robot control as easy as training a puppy. For the first time, anyone can own and train a robot at home, and help write the next chapter in robotics.”
With AI breakthroughs accelerating robotics more in two years than the previous two decades, Willow X arrives at a pivotal moment. It empowers everyday users, much like early personal computers, by putting robot customization in your hands.
“This is the innovation wave you don’t want to miss,” Lorrez adds.
Willow X can learn virtually any outdoor or light-duty chore: mowing lawns, weeding flower beds, carrying tools or groceries, opening gates, even tidying toys. Your only limit is Willow X’s hardware, imagination does the rest.
Built on EEVE’s proven eOS platform with an Nvidia Orion processor, Willow X connects via Wi-Fi or optional 4G. Its onboard cameras watch your every move, mirror your actions, and improve with each training.
Best of all, trained tasks join a shared library, download community “robot know-how” or contribute your own.
“Together, users create the world’s first collaborative robot-training network,” says Lorrez.
“Give the robot a name and it becomes a member of your family. Happy customer for over a year now,” says early adopter Lieven Gekiere.
