Ducati Scrambler Icon Dark Launched in India For Rs 9.97 Lakh TechTricks365

Ducati has introduced the Scrambler Icon Dark in India at Rs 9.97 lakh (ex-showroom). This makes it the most affordable Ducati Scrambler, priced Rs 94,000 lower than the Scrambler Icon. The new bike features an all-black design and remains mechanically the same as its sibling.

It has a powerful 803cc engine, modern features, and advanced safety tech. Moreover, bookings are now open across dealerships, and deliveries have already begun. Let’s take a closer look at what this new Ducati has to offer.

Bold and Dark Design

The Scrambler Icon Dark stands out with its blacked-out theme. The engine, frame, wheels, and front forks all get a dark finish. Furthermore, it has a matte black paint scheme and a smoked headlamp lens, adding to its aggressive look. Unlike the standard Scrambler Icon, this version does not have the small under-seat cowl, making it even sleeker.

Same Powerful Engine, No Changes

Mechanically, the Scrambler Icon Dark remains the same as the Scrambler Icon. It is powered by an 803cc, air/oil-cooled L-Twin engine. The engine produces 73 bhp at 8,250 rpm and 65 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. Moreover, it comes with a six-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quickshifter for smooth gear changes.

Strong Frame and Modern Features

The tubular steel trellis frame ensures a strong and lightweight build. The suspension setup includes upside-down (USD) front forks and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. These components, sourced from Kayaba, provide a comfortable and stable ride. The bike rides on Pirelli MT 60 RS tyres, with an 18-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, offering great grip on different roads.

Ducati has equipped the Scrambler Icon Dark with the latest technology. The bike features a 4.3-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, allowing riders to pair their smartphones. Moreover, it has four-level traction control, cornering ABS, and two riding modes—Road and Sport. These safety features make riding easier and more enjoyable.
