According to Ducati India, the bookings for their upcoming motorcycle, the DesertX Discovery, are open now. The company officially announced this on 28 Jan, 2025 on their social media platforms. The bike has been teased online a few times. The official launch date has not yet been revealed; however, it is probably going to be on sale shortly. The Ducati DesertX Discovery has the following offerings.
Ducati DesertX Discovery: Design & Engine Performance
The adventure bike DesertX Discovery shares the same appearance as the other models in the DesertX series. However, it is painted in a red and black colour pattern. The bike also benefits from protection for the engine casing, a wide belly guard, and baggage such as hard-case panniers. It has a 937cc twin-cylinder engine that produces a maximum torque of 92 Nm and a maximum power of 108 Bhp. Additionally, the engine setup is paired with a six-speed gearbox with a bidirectional quick-shifter.
Ducati DesertX Discovery: Specifications
The ADV bike has a Fully adjustable KYB monoshock at the rear and fully adjustable 46mm USD forks at the front. The DesertX Discovery has a 265mm disc brake at the back and two 320mm disc brakes up front. Moreover, the front wheel of this ADV is 21 inches, while the rear wheel is 18 inches, and both are spoke rims.
Ducati DesertX Discovery: Features & Price Expectations
There are a lot of features on this Ducati. Along with LED winkers, LED taillights, and dual headlights, it also has a digital dashboard that can be accessed by a smartphone. Rider assistance features include engine brake control, wheelie control, and riding modes. The DesertX Discovery is anticipated to cost more than Rs 20 lakh and would be positioned between the DesertX and DesertX Rally.
