In less than a month’s time, PlayStation will release Days Gone Remastered, a new way to experience the 2019 PlayStation 4 title. And while some were disappointed that Days Gone was chosen for the remaster, the game quickly began charting on the PlayStation Store.
Perhaps it might have to do with the fact that the Remaster will have an auto-pop Platinum Trophy, provided you own the Platinum on the PS4 version. Either way, it seems like fans are pretty pumped for the release.
Speaking of Trophies, though the game will import the PS4 list forward, Bend Studio has shared several new Trophies that will be added to the game, of which new story content seems to be coming, or at least some form of it.
Over on Twitter, Bend Studio shared that, among Trophies dedicated to the Horde Assault mode and Permadeath, there is a new Trophy for Sarah’s Gift — “Find something important to Deacon that was thought lost.”

Those who’ve played Days Gone will know that it can only mean one thing — the original gas can that Deacon lost at the beginning of the game when Copeland scrapped his bike. That can was a gift from Sarah, and while it remains a major story element, the player never actually does get that specific part back.
On PC, modders have already added the original gas tank for players to swap, though it was never explicitly given back or found in-game. Now, it seems like that tank will make its return.
The only question that remains is just how it will be unlocked. Seeing that it’s a Trophy, one has to think it’ll be some quest or POI on the map and not something that’s available from the jump in the menus. Either way, the mystery of how the tank returns will be solved shortly.
