Classic 350 Review After 1.5 Years: Real Ownership Stories TechTricks365

Bike Junction presents you the series “Riding Through Real Stories,” where we meet real riders and listen to their experiences. Today, we are presenting to you a candid 1.5-year ownership experience of a Royal Enfield Classic 350 owner. He has shared his experience, ranging from performance to servicing and general ride experience. Let’s get into the details:

First Buy & Maintenance

After considering various bikes, he chose this bike because of its classic appearance, sleek engine, and smooth cruising performance. Then, in August 2023, the customer purchased the Royal Enfield Classic 350 for Rs 2,19,936 in Delhi.

Up to now, the bike has undergone five servicing sessions, out of which three were complimentary. Actually, the company provides the first three services for free. He only paid for the engine oil, while labour, washing, and polishing were complimentary.

Additionally, for the remaining two services, he paid approximately Rs 1500 to 1600, which is not that much. In general, the rider finds the cost of servicing reasonable, considering the strong build and reliability of the bike.

Mileage & Riding Experience

Classic 350 Mileage & Performance
Over the duration of his 1.5-year, the rider made a number of long trips with the Classic 350, including a 1,000-kilometer ride to Manali. The bike achieved a mileage of 30-35 km/l on the highways but only 23-28 km/l in the city traffic.

He likes the bike’s excellent ride quality and is pleased by its road presence. At 80 to 85 km/h, the Classic 350 is steady, but at 100 km/h, vibrations begin to arise. Long-distance trip is made easy by the torque-dominant engine, which also makes it an excellent option.

With a 349cc single-cylinder engine producing 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of torque, the bike has more than adequate power for both city and highway riding. The rider commented that the bike does overheat while navigating traffic but this is okay once proper shifts of gears are accomplished.

Final Verdict & Rating

After riding the Royal Enfield Classic 350 for one and a half years, the rider gives it a 9/10. He commends its smooth engine, vintage looks, and comfortable ride. He had this to say, “The Classic 350 is ideal for riders who enjoy relaxed cruising and long distances. However, its weight and mild vibrations at high speeds may not be suitable for all.
