The EV maker is stepping into new market segments with a new electric scooter and enduro bike: both priced quite attractively

Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer, Ultraviolette Automotive, has launched the Tesseract electric scooter and the Shockwave electric enduro bike in India. The Tesseract e-scooter prices start at Rs 1,45,000 and is available for the introductory price of Rs 1,20,000 (both ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 customers.
On the other hand, the Ultraviolette Shockwave electric enduro bike has been launched at Rs 1,75,000 and is available for an introductory price of Rs 1,49,999 (ex-showroom) for the first 1,000 customers. Bookings of both Tesseract and Shockwave have started for just Rs 999, with deliveries to begin in the first quarter of 2026.
Ultraviolette Tesseract Electric Scooter:
The Ultraviolette Tesseract electric scooter comes with a sporty and bulky design. Like Ultraviolette bikes, the scooter also draws its styling inspiration from aerospace designs. It is available in three colours: Desert Sand, Stealth Black and Sonic Pink.
The Tesseract electric scooter is equipped with an electric motor that delivers a peak output of 15kW. It delivers a claimed range of 261km per charge. The electric scooter is claimed to accelerate from 0 to 60kmph in 2.9 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 125kmph. According to the EV maker, it takes less than 1 hour to charge the scooter from 0 to 80 percent, using a fast charger.
The Ultraviolette electric scooter features a 7-inch TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity. It has Google Maps navigation, call & SMS alerts, ride analytics, towing alerts, location tracking, Violette AI integration and OTA updates. The Tesseract comes with many first-in-segment features like cruise control, radar tech and smart mirrors, which provide blind spot detection, lane change assist and collision alerts. It also gets two integrated dashcams – one for the front and one for the rear.
The Tesseract e-scooter also has a generous 34-litre underseat storage which can accommodate a full face helmet. It also gets a wireless charger. Other features include dual projector headlamps, floating LED DRLs (daytime running lights) and haptic feedback on the handlebar. The Tesseract electric scooter is equipped with a disc brake at both ends. The e-scooter comes with 14-inch alloy wheels, wrapped with 110-section front and 140-section rear tyres. It competes against other premium electric scooters like the Ola S1 Pro Plus, Simple One and the Ather 450X.
Ultraviolette Shockwave Enduro Bike:
The Ultraviolette Shockwave electric bike comes with a typical enduro bike-inspired design with a sleek bodywork. It is a road-legal bike and customers can also buy the optional pillion seat. It is available in two colour options: Cosmic Black and Frost White.
The Shockwave electric bike has an electric motor that makes 10.8kW (14.5PS) and 505Nm. It is chain-driven and delivers an IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) range of 165km. The bike has a claimed 0 to 60 acceleration time of 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 120kmph. Being an Enduro bike, it is pretty lightweight at 120kg.
Featurewise, the Shockwave has a vertical TFT instrument console. It has smartphone connectivity features via Bluetooth along with E-Sim connectivity. The bike also has 4-level traction control and 6 levels of Regen for longer range. It gets dual LED projector headlamps with an all-LED lighting setup.
The Ultraviolette enduro bike is equipped with a 37mm telescopic fork (with 200mm of wheel travel) and a monoshock (with 180mm wheel travel). The Shockwave has a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear spoke wheel setup. For braking, it uses a 270mm front disc with a dual-piston calliper and a 220mm rear disc with a single-piston calliper. The electric bike has switchable dual-channel ABS.
