More About the TVS Sport
The TVS Sport is powered by the same 110cc engine as the Radeon and Star City Plus. The motor is known to offer good mileage, and the claimed top speed is 90kmph, which is also decent enough for city commutes. It also has a manageable kerb weight of 112kg. The bike gets drum brakes at both ends, with no option of a front disc.
Other notable features include the analogue instrument console with a speedometer, fuel gauge, Econometer (which indicates whether the rider is riding frugally or aggressively), and tell-tale lights. The TVS Sport in its segment rivals the Hero HF Deluxe, Bajaj Platina 110 and the Honda CD 110 Dream.
BikeDekho Says
The colour schemes in the new variant looks a lot funkier than the rest of the colours in the Sport. With this, TVS might be targeting a younger crowd that’s looking for a stylish commuter with good mileage, reliable engine. We think the new colours definitely look good–especially the Black Neon. In our opinion, the new shades look better than the ones in the top-end variant as they are unique but also not too overdone. This launch coincides with Akshaya Tritiya (April 30), so it’s pretty evident that TVS is cashing in on the auspicious day.
