Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles India has launched the Jawa 350 Legacy Edition in India at an introductory price of Rs 1,98,950 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for only the first 500 customers.  It is offered in all the colours of the current Jawa 350: Maroon, Black, Mystique Orange, Stunning Deep Forest, Grey, and Obsidian Black. Here’s an overview of what the limited edition motorcycles gets:

Design:

The Jawa 350 Legacy Edition derives its inspiration from the iconic Jawa Type 353. The bike gets design elements such as a chrome finish along with golden pinstripes running across the bodypanels and the fuel tank. For exclusivity, the bike also gets a chrome finished crash guard, a pillion backrest and a touring visor too.

Engine:

The limited edition motorcycle gets the same 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine from the regular Jawa 350. It produces 22.5PS and 25.1Nm and is paired to a six speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.

Features:

The Jawa 350 Legacy Edition gets a very limited set of features like a semi-digital instrument console with analogue speedometer, odometer and fuel gauge. The limited edition also gets  the retro-styled headlight cowl, chrome elements over the body and chrome finished twin exhausts adding to the bike’s appeal.

Underpinnings:

The suspension duties are handled by a 35mm telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers with 5-step preload adjustability. The bike sits on an 18-inch front wheel with a 100-section tyre and a 17-inch rear with a 130-section tyre ( tubed units at both ends). It also gets a 280mm front and a 240mm rear disc brake with dual-channel ABS as standard. The bike gets an accessible seat height of 790mm, ground clearance of 178mm and weighs 194kg (kerb).

Rivals:

The exclusive Jawa 350 Legacy Edition rivals the bikes like  Royal Enfield Classic 350 and the Honda CB 350.

The Jawa 350 legacy edition marks the one year of the Jawa 350 being launched. Jawa Yezdi motorcycles will also provide the buyer with a miniature model of the Jawa 350 Legacy edition and a leather keychain.
