Priced at Rs 1,34,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi)
Yamaha has launched the 2025 Yamaha FZ-S Fi in India, priced from Rs 1,34,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes it Rs 10,000 more affordable than the Yamaha FZ-S Fi Hybrid. It is also Rs 3,600 more expensive than the previous generation Yamaha FZ-S Fi V4 DLX . The new bike has undergone a few changes in terms of styling and features. Here’s a detailed breakdown:
The Yamaha FZ-S Fi has retained the same design language but is now offered in 4 colour schemes – Metallic Grey, Matte Black, Ice Fluo-Vermillion, and Cyber Green. The colours look quite good, and it gives nice options to riders who want subtle shades as well as ones looking for flashy ones.
The bike is powered by a new OBD-2B compliant 149cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine which outputs 12.5PS and 13.3Nm. The performance is similar to that of the recently launched Yamaha FZ-S Fi Hybrid.
The bike features a telescopic fork and monoshock. It rolls on a 17-inch front and rear alloy wheel setup. Braking setup consists of a 282mm front disc and 220mm rear disc with single-channel ABS.
Features wise, the bike gets a negatively-lit LCD instrument console, with smartphone connectivity and related features. Riders can use the Yamaha Y-Connect mobile application for call, SMS and email alerts along with phone battery monitoring, fuel consumption tracker, and even a last parking location finder, among others.
Aside from the connectivity features, the brand has also added in a traction control system. Although some may think it’s unnecessary on a 150cc bike, any kind of safety tech is welcome, especially for inexperienced riders.
Overall, the 2025 Yamaha FZ-S Fi, with its price of Rs 1,34,800 (ex-showroom Delhi), feels like a good value-for-money proposition. That said, we were expecting the bike would get a bit more premium features with the 2025 update like the TFT console that was offered on the Yamaha FZ-S Fi Hybrid.
The bike will go up against other models in the 150cc segment such as the Bajaj Pulsar N150 and the TVS Apache RTR 160 2V.
