BREAKING: 2025 Hero HF100 OBD-2B Launched In India At Rs 60,118, Cheapest Hero Bike On Sale | BikeDekho TechTricks365

Despite the small price hike, the HF100 is still is one of the most affordable bikes in India

Quick News Highlights:

  • Price increased by Rs 1,100 from the previous version

  • Now priced at Rs 60,118 (ex-showroom Delhi)

  • Remains unchanged overall except for the OBD-2B compliance

Hero MotoCorp has launched the updated 2025 Hero HF100 in India at Rs 60,118 (ex-showroom Delhi). The commuter bike is now compliant with the latest OBD-2B emission norms, and it gets a slight price increase of Rs 1,100 over the older model – which was priced at Rs 59,018 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Design

No changes have been done to the styling and the 2025 Hero HF100 looks the same as before. It has a simple and functional look, with a focus on practicality and reliability. The bike continues to get the same two colours as before: Red Black and Blue Black.

Engine

The 2025 HF100 continues with its tried-and-tested 97.2cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine – but it now complies with the latest OBD-2B emission norms. The engine produces 8.02PS at 8,000 rpm, 8.05Nm at 6,000 rpm (both same as before), and is mated to a four-speed gearbox. This motor is shared with the Splendor line-up, Passion Plus, and the HF Deluxe. It still gets a kick-starter along with the electric-start as standard.

Underpinnings

The Hero HF100 retains its telescopic fork and two-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers. It uses 130mm drum brakes on both ends with ‘IBS’ (Integrated Braking System) – Hero’s version of Combined Braking System (CBS). The bike rolls on 18-inch alloys with 2.75-inch wide tyres at both the front and rear. It weighs 110kg kerb, gets a 9.1-litre fuel tank, has an 805mm seat height, and 165mm of ground clearance.

Features

The HF100 is a no-frills commuter bike but still gets a few features like the engine-off on fall and the side-stand down engine cut-off. The lights are still Halogen all around though. The console comes with an analogue speedometer and a fuel gauge, along with other tell-tale lights.

BikeDekho Says

The 2025 Hero HF100 continues as a reliable and affordable commuter bike that rivals the likes of the Bajaj Platina 100, TVS Sport, and Honda Shine 100. The OBD-2B update may have raised the price slightly, but it isn’t high enough to make you think twice about purchasing the motorcycle. It is a solid choice for those looking for a no-nonsense petrol-powered bike with affordable running costs to handle their daily commutes.
