BREAKING: 2025 BMW C 400 GT Launched In India At Rs 11.5 Lakh | BikeDekho TechTricks365


The 350cc scooter gets new colours and features and is Rs 25,000 more expensive than before

BMW Motorrad India has launched the new 2025 C 400 GT maxi scooter in India at Rs 11,50,000 (ex-showroom), which makes it Rs 25,000 more expensive than before. The scooter is available in India as a Completely Built-up Unit (CBU). Customers can book them from today onwards. 

Design

The 2025 BMW C 400 GT has a typical maxi-scooter design with bulky bodywork. It has a spacious split-seat setup and now gets an adjustable tall visor. The scooter is now available in two new colour options: Blackstorm Metallic and Diamond White Metallic.

Engine

The 2025 C 400 GT scooter is powered by an EU-5+ compliant 350cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces a peak power of 34PS at 7,500rpm and 35Nm at 5,750 rpm (same as before). It is paired with a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). The scooter has a claimed top speed of 129kmph.

Features

The new C 400 GT is equipped with a 10.25-inch TFT instrument console that shows the speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge, trip meter, clock and other basic readouts. It also gets smartphone connectivity features through the BMW Connectivity Pro Package. The scooter also gets ride-by-wire throttle and keyless ignition. Rider aid features on the scooter include cornering ABS, traction control and Engine Drag Torque Control (MSR), which is basically the engine braking control.

The BMW scooter has a small compartment at the left-side of the apron which houses a 12-volt socket and a USB-C charging port. The right side of the apron has a small 4.5-litre storage compartment. The scooter has a spacious under-seat storage of 37.6 litres.

Underpinnings

The C 400 GT comes with a telescopic fork and preload-adjustable twin rear shock absorbers. Braking duties are handled by twin discs at the front and a single disc at the rear, with dual-channel ABS. The bike gets 15-inch front and 14-inch rear alloy wheels, wrapped with 120-section and 150-section tubeless tyres, respectively. The scooter has a big 12.8-litre fuel tank capacity. It has a seat height of 765mm and a kerb weight of 219kg.

Rivals

While the BMW C 400 GT does not have a direct competitor in India. Another premium and eco-friendly alternative includes the BMW CE 04 electric maxi-scooter.
