May 2025 turned out to be an action-packed month for the Indian two-wheeler market, with manufacturers rolling out new models across different categories, and one of them even started a brand new segment in India. Here’s a detailed look at the key launches this month:
Benelli TRK 502 Series: Fresh Look for the big ADV
Benelli has launched the 2025 TRK 502 series in India, priced at Rs 6.20 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It is available in three variants, the TRK 502, TRK 502 X and TRK 502 LE. The standard variant gets 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, while the X and LE variants get a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear tubeless spoke wheel setup. The motorcycle also gets a new TFT screen which shows all the necessary information, and supports smartphone connectivity. It also gets TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system).
Triumph Scrambler 400 XC: More Off-Road Capable
Triumph launched the Scrambler 400 XC in India at a price of Rs 2,94,147 (ex-showroom), the Scrambler 400 XC is Rs 27,000 more expensive than the standard 400X. For the extra premium the 400 XC offers tubeless spoke wheels, a front beak, flyscreen, lower engine guard and an aluminium sump guard. These additions should make it a bit more capable off the road.
Honda CBR650R & CB650R: E-Clutch Tech Debuts in India
Honda launched the 2025 CBR650R and CB650R, both now equipped with the brand’s E-Clutch technology, enabling easy, clutchless gear shifts. These middleweight machines feature a 649cc inline-four motor delivering 93.8PS and 63 Nm of torque. The CBR650R is priced at Rs 10.40 lakh, while the CB650R is priced at Rs 9.60 lakh (ex-showroom Gurugram).
TVS iQube Series: Smarter and More Efficient
TVS enhanced its electric scooter lineup with an updated iQube range which includes the base variant, the iQube S and the iQube ST. The updated versions feature slightly bigger battery packs, better riding range and features, making them even more appealing to e-scooter buyers. TVS has also cut down the prices significantly, so now the iQube range is a lot more affordable than before. The 2025 iQube starts from Rs 94,434 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Suzuki Access 125: Now Equipped with TFT Display
Suzuki India, updated its best-selling scooter, the Access 125, with a TFT display. Available in the top spec, Ride Connect TFT Edition, the new screen offers a better viewing experience than the LCD console. That said, the information shown in both displays are pretty much the same. The new variant is priced at Rs 1,01,900 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Suzuki Avenis 125 Standard: A Sporty Scooter, Made Simpler
A new ‘Standard Edition’ of the Suzuki Avenis 125 was launched at Rs 91,400. This is Rs 1,800 more affordable than the variant that’s simply called “Avenis”. The key difference is that the Standard Edition does not have smartphone connectivity whereas the “Avenis” gets it.
Honda Rebel 500: Relaxed Cruiser Enters India
Honda launched the Rebel 500 in India at a price of Rs 5.12 lakh (ex-showroom Gurugram). It gets a 471cc, parallel-twin engine which makes 46.22 PS and 43.3 Nm. The Rebel 500 is designed for laid-back, comfortable rides with a butter smooth and reliable motor. Its minimalist styling and proper low stance make it an attractive choice for Japanese cruiser fans.
Honda X-ADV: Adventure Meets Scooter-like Versatility
The 2025 version of Honda’s X-ADV scooter has been launched in India at Rs 11.90 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It is the biggest scooter in the Indian market, and gets several features, including full-LED lighting, cruise control and TFT display. Powered by a 745cc parallel-twin engine producing 58.6PS and 69Nm. This scooter gets a dual-clutch transmission that enables the scooter to be ridden either in manual mode (with gear changes using buttons) or automatic mode. The X-ADV merges the practicality of a scooter with adventure-ready styling and components.
Bajaj Platina 110 NXT: New Mileage Champion?
Bajaj Auto has introduced the 2025 Platina 110 NXT in India, at Rs 74,214 (ex-showroom Delhi). This refreshed commuter motorcycle comes with a 115.45cc OBD-2B compliant, fuel-injected engine producing 8.5PSand 9.81 Nm. Key updates include a chrome-bezel surrounding the headlamp, new graphics, USB charging port, and a more comfortable seat. It’s offered in Red-Black, Silver-Black, and Yellow-Black shades.
Kawasaki Versys-X 300: Japanese Entry-Level ADV Returns
Kawasaki India has re-launched the Versys-X 300, priced at Rs 3,79,900 (ex-showroom Delhi). It gets the same 296cc parallel-twin engine which makes 40PS and 25.7Nm. The bike is tuned for touring and light off-road adventures. Its comfortable ergonomics and refined engine make it a good option for touring. That said, in 2025 we have a lot of other more capable and feature-packed ADVs to consider within the same price range.
Honda CB1000 Hornet SP And Honda CB750 Hornet: The Ultimate Naked Machines?
Honda launched its big naked bike in India, called the CB1000 Hornet SP, priced at Rs 12.36 lakh (ex-showroom Gurugram). Powered by a 999cc four-cylinder engine producing 157PS and 107 Nm, it comes loaded with premium components like Showa inverted fork, Ohlins rear monoshock, Brembo brakes, and a 5-inch TFT screen with smartphone connectivity.
Alongside it, Honda also introduced the CB750 Hornet at Rs 8.59 lakh (ex-showroom), aimed at enthusiasts looking for a mid-size performance motorcycle. It uses a 755cc twin-cylinder engine delivering 92PS and 75 Nm, riding modes, sharp styling, and the same console as the CB1000.
TVS Jupiter DT SXC Variant: More Stylish Looking 125
TVS launched the DT SXC variant of the Jupiter 125 priced at Rs 88,942 (ex-showroom Delhi). It offers a more premium styling along with two new dual-tone colour options: Ivory Grey and Ivory Brown. This 125cc scooter also gets a new LCD screen which supports smartphone connectivity along with turn-by-turn navigation, SMS/call alerts, among others. It sits between the disc variant and the top-of-the-line SmartXonnect variant of the Jupiter 125.
Kawasaki Ninja 300: Same Looks With New Graphics
Kawasaki launched the new Ninja 300 in India at a price of Rs 3.34 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), which is the same as before. The motorcycle gets similar looking colours as before but new graphics. Kawasaki has given the 2025 Ninja 300 a projector headlight setup along with a new slightly taller windscreen for better wind protection, and updated tyres.
Honda 50th Anniversary Gold Wing Tour: Top Of The Line Luxury
Honda launched the 50th Anniversary Gold Wing Tour in India at a price of Rs 39.90 lakh (ex-showroom Gurugram). It gets a 1,833cc flat six-cylinder engine which makes 126.5PS and 170Nm, along with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. This highway tourer gets a 7-inch TFT with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and even an airbag for better safety.
As its name suggests, this is a special variant that celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Gold Wing’s existence. It gets an exclusive colour scheme and a few stickers to stand apart from the standard model.

Along with these official launches, there were some bikes that reached dealerships ahead of their official launch announcements.
Updated Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z: More Power And Better Hardware
The 2025 Pulsar NS400Z has reached dealerships ahead of its official launch in India. It is the most powerful Pulsar yet, powered by a 373cc liquid-cooled engine, which now produces 43PS rather than 40PS, and same torque at 35Nm. The NS400Z now gets a quickshifter, more grippy Apollo Alpha H1 tyres and sintered brake pads which should offer improved braking performance than the previous model. Previously the Pulsar NS400Z was priced at Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), and this new version is expected to be about Rs 10,000 more expensive than before.
Updated KTM 390 Duke: Grippier Tyres
The 2025 KTM 390 Duke now gets the Apollo Alpha H1 W-rated soft compound tyres, replacing the previous Metzeler Sportec M5 H-rated ones. They should offer better grip and handling on Indian roads. The bike continues with its 399cc liquid-cooled engine, producing 46PS and 39Nm. It also includes a quick-shifter, ride modes, traction control, full-LED lighting, and a TFT display. The updated version is priced at Rs 2.96 lakh (ex-showroom).
