BattRE Electric Mobility is an EV startup based out of Jaipur. The brand has launched its latest high speed electric scooter – the LOEV+, priced at Rs 69,999 (ex-showroom). It is available at select dealerships across India, with more details on bookings and deliveries expected soon. The company claims to be present in 21 states, with over 400 touchpoints.
Design
In terms of design, the LOEV+ has a split dual lamp headlight setup, and also gets an LED DRL. The electric scooter is available in a total of five colour options: Starlight Blue, Stormy Grey, Ice Blue, Midnight Black, and Pearl White. Overall, the design is not particularly unique as there are several similar looking electric scooters originating from China, assembled in India.
Battery
The BattRE LOEV+ is powered by a 2kWh Amaron battery and comes with a 13 Amp charger. Both the battery and charger are IP67-rated, making them water and dust resistant. The battery can be fully charged in 2 hours and 50 minutes. The scooter also comes with a three year warranty on both the battery and charger.
Performance
The LOEV+ offers three riding modes: Eco, Comfort, and Sports. In Eco mode, the electric scooter has a top speed of 35kmph, and offers a claimed range of 90km on a single full charge. In Comfort mode, it has a top speed of 48kmph and a range of 75km. While, in the Sports mode, it reaches a top speed of 60 kmph, and has a range of 60km.
Features
The scooter gets LED lighting all around, and a fully digital instrument console that displays key details like the distance to empty (DTE) and battery level. Additionally, it gets features such as Cruise Control, Hill Hold Assist, and a parking mode switch to prevent accidental acceleration when the scooter is parked.
Underpinnings
The scooter gets 12-inch wheels and disc brakes at both ends with CBS (combined braking system), 180mm of ground clearance, a telescopic fork and twinshock rear suspension.
BikeDekho Says:
The BattRE LOEV range expands with the Plus variant, while looking vastly different from the standard scooter. The top speed may not be impressive but it offers good value for money when compared to other low-speed electric scooters (with a top-speed restricted to 25kmph) at the same price point. However, its main rival, the Ola S1 X 2kWh offers more features, better range, and a higher top speed on paper. Another rival is the Ola S1 Z, deliveries of which will begin from May 2025.
