Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6 Scrambler Spotted Testing For First Time, Along With The Flying Flea C6 | BikeDekho TechTricks365

The Flying Flea S6 gets longer travel suspension and a lot of other changes compared to the Flying Flea C6

Quick News Highlights

  • The S6 gets a more rugged design

  • Comes with longer travel suspension & dual-purpose tyres

  • Could be offered with a pillion seat as an accessory

The Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6 has been spotted testing for the first time. The upcoming electric bike was spotted alongside the Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6, in Ladakh. The Flying Flea S6 is a scrambler/enduro style motorcycle, and features a couple of major differences compared to the Royal Enfield Flying Fela C6.

The Flying Flea S6 has a more rugged looking design compared to the C6. It still features a lot of the same retro design elements, such as the round headlight, the tear drop shaped tank and the hardtail-like styling at the rear.

It gets a split seat setup, which looks quite different from the single-piece setup that we had seen on the concept that was teased by the brand earlier. But other bits, such as the underpinnings look the same as we had seen on the teaser. The bike gets an inverted fork instead of a girder fork, as seen on the C6. The inverted fork also looks like it could offer long travel, and would go a long way in improving the bike’s offroad handling capabilities.

Another interesting bit we saw in the spy shots was the spoke wheel setup, with dual-purpose tyres. This should improve the bike’s offroad capabilities as opposed to the Flying Flea C6 which gets an alloy wheel setup, with road-biased tyres.

Lastly, the Flying Flea S6 also gets a chain-drive transmission, instead of a belt drive system that we had seen on the Flying Flea C6. This should make it easier to maintain the bike in the long run, as chain-drive transmissions are a lot easier to fix compared to a belt-drive system.

The electric bike features a round TFT console, which could offer features like smartphone connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation. Along with this, the bike could also feature switchable ABS at the rear, which will make it easier for riders to ride the bike offroad.

Overall, the Flying Flea S6 being tested is a welcome development, and would make for a really good alternative to the Ultraviolette Shockwave which is coming to India by early-2026. That said, the Ultraviolette Shockwave will be a relatively affordable option compared to the Flying Flea S6. Royal Enfield had said that their electric lineup will be premium offerings similar to the bikes in the 650cc platform.

We can expect the Flying Flea S6 to be priced somewhere near the Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6’s price range of Rs 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The electric scrambler bike will likely be launched in India after the Flying Flea C6, which will possibly be launched by mid-2026.
