How to watch WWDC 2025 on iPhone, Mac, Apple TV & web TechTricks365

Apple’s biggest software event of the year kicks off June 9. Here’s how you can watch the WWDC 2025 keynote live on just about any device.

Apple is preparing to introduce the most significant overhaul of its software interfaces in over a decade. The WWDC 2025 keynote will take place Monday, June 9, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern, and will be streamed live on Apple’s website, the Apple TV app, and YouTube.

The company is expected to roll out a new system-wide design called “Solarium,” which will bring consistent visual changes across iOS 26, macOS 26, iPadOS 26, watchOS 26, tvOS 26, and visionOS 26.

The updates are rumored to include rounded corners, layered transparency, and a more unified layout that draws inspiration from the look of visionOS.

The livestream begins at 10:00 a.m. Pacific on June 9. That’s 1:00 p.m. Eastern, 6:00 p.m. in the United Kingdom, 7:00 p.m. across Central Europe, and 10:30 p.m. in India. Viewers in Japan and Australia can tune in early the next morning, at 2:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. local time.

Apple will stream the keynote on its events page, in the Apple TV and Developer apps, and on YouTube. Anyone can watch without signing in. The YouTube page has an option to get a notification when the stream goes live.

The event should work smoothly on any modern browser or smart device. People using Windows or Android can watch on YouTube or Apple’s website. Apple devices can also use the TV app, which usually features the keynote on its main screen.

How to watch Apple’s Platform State of the Union

Apple’s Platforms State of the Union, a technical companion to the WWDC keynote, provides developers with a closer look at new tools, frameworks, and APIs across Apple’s platforms. Scheduled for June 9 at 1:00 p.m. Pacific, the presentation offers practical implications of the keynote announcements, including updates to Xcode, Swift, UI frameworks, and system services.

Unlike the WWDC keynote, it’s tailored to developers building apps for iOS, macOS, iPadOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS. The session streams live on the Apple Developer app, developer website, and YouTube channel, with a replay available afterward.

What to expect from WWDC 2025

The biggest focus this year is on design. Multiple reports say Apple will introduce a new look across all of its operating systems.

These changes are expected to bring the platforms into better visual alignment. The goal is to make iPhones, iPads, Macs, and other devices feel more consistent and modern.

Apple is also likely to share updates to Apple Intelligence, the name it gave its AI features last year. While some users may be expecting major new capabilities, sources say the improvements will probably be more subtle.

There could be updates to Siri or small productivity tools, but Apple isn’t expected to match the scale of recent AI announcements from competitors.

At this point, there are no strong signs that new hardware will be revealed. Some past WWDC events have included Mac announcements, but this year the focus seems to be entirely on software.

Apple’s approach to WWDC 2025

The event will follow Apple’s current hybrid format. A small group of developers and press will attend a keynote screening at Apple Park. Everyone else can watch online. The rest of the conference will take place virtually, with daily developer session videos released through the Apple Developer app and website.

This structure has become Apple’s standard since 2022. It allows the company to showcase new features to a large audience while still offering limited in-person access for hands-on testing and demos.

Why WWDC 2025 matters

WWDC 2025 is shaping up to be one of Apple’s most important software events in years. The Solarium design initiative represents a shift toward greater consistency across the Apple ecosystem.

With each platform now getting the same version number and sharing a visual style, the company is clearly trying to simplify and unify the user experience.

AI may still be part of the story, but the real focus is on how Apple’s products look and feel. This redesign has the potential to shape the company’s software for years to come.

For developers, that means new tools and design guidelines. For users, it could make Apple’s devices feel more connected and easier to navigate.
