While Stellar Blade coming to PC next month is a cause for celebration for action fans, there are a lot of gamers who won’t be able to play it due to Sony region-locking the game.
It’s not just a small number of countries, either. The list includes over 130 countries where the game won’t be sold officially.
Stellar Blade on PC is being published by PlayStation, which is also the reason why you don’t see the game available outside the PS5. The complete list of countries where Stellar Blade on PC can’t be activated or purchased is listed below (via SteamDB).

There are also three “Unknown country” entries listed for “AN,” “FX,” and “XG.” Per Reddit, AN is the Netherlands Antilles, though players can use their Dutch (NL) account to buy the game. FX is only used in specific situations to mean Metropolitan France, but all French accounts are now under the global country code (FR), which includes overseas territories. XD is for Dubai, though that’s covered by the United Arab Emirates (UEA).
If you saw your country in the list, Shift Up has said they are discussing the region-lock issue with the publisher (PlayStation), so there’s still a chance the list isn’t final. There are also other ways of purchasing the game, even if it’s banned in your country, though we’ll leave that up to you to discover.
Stellar Blade on PC will include new content in the form of a new boss and new outfits, which will also be released on PS5 as part of a free title update.
Stellar Blade launches on PC on June 11, 2025.
