Morning dopamine, no extreme diets, and a nighttime whodunnit  TechTricks365

1. Dopamine: Mornings are the best part of my day. The 6-10 am routine includes time with my kids and the gym — a golden window for my shot of oxytocin and dopamine. Four hours of “me time” to energise my day.

2. Weightlifting: My fitness routine consists of an hour of weightlifting and 30 minutes of cardio exercises. This helps with mental clarity.

3. Diet: No extreme diets. To build muscle, I consume a lot of protein-rich food like chicken, paneer and soya. I’m a fan of blueberries with Greek yoghurt. But to keep my calorie intake in check, I restrict myself to two meals a day, which also aids in about 16 hours of intermittent fasting.

4. Unwind: Enroute home, I usually listen to music — Rishab Rikhiram Sharma’s ‘Sitar for Mental Health’ is a recent favourite.

5. Reading: My nighttime routine is a mix of physical and mental wellness, where I walk for 20-30 minutes, depending on laziness level, plus at least 30 minutes of reading a fiction novel — in all probability, a whodunnit.
