FADA (Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations) has announced its April 2025 sales report, which registered a YoY increase of 2.25% and a MoM increase of 11.84%.

In April 2025, the industry clocked in a total sales volume of 16,86,774 units, whereas in April 2024, the industry saw sales of 16,49,591 units. This resulted in a 2.25% increase in YoY growth. However, an 11.84% increase in MoM sales is seen, as in March 2025, sales figures were 15,08,232 units.

- Hero MotoCorp LTD sold the most two-wheelers in April 2025, with 511,687 units. This is a 0.12% decrease from the 512,298 units they sold in April 2024. Moreover, their market share declined by 2.32%.
- Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India came in second, selling 406,102 units in April 2025. This is a 2.70% growth from the 395,431 units they sold in April 2024. Moreover, their market share increased by 0.43%.
- TVS Motor Company Ltd. was third, selling 309,274 units in April 2025 compared to 281,130 units sold in April 2024. Their sales increased by 10.01%, and their market share increased by 7.59%.
- Bajaj Auto Ltd.’s sales declined by 6.74% to 183,069 units in April 2025, compared to 196,309 two-wheelers last year. Moreover, its market share dropped slightly to 8.80%.
- Suzuki Motorcycle India witnessed a 16.97% YoY growth, with 91,741 units sold in April 2025, compared to 78,428 in April 2024. Suzuki’s market share increased to 14.40%.
- Royal Enfield motorcycles experienced an 8.92% growth in sales, with 80,090 units sold in April 2025, up from 73,532 last year. Its market share increased to 6.52%.
- Yamaha India sold 52,289 units in April 2025, which is an 6.85% decline from 56,135 units in April 2024. Moreover, their market share declined to 8.90%.
- In April 2025, Ola Electric reported total sales of 19,709, a decline of 42.31% compared to April 2024 sales of 34,163 units. Moreover, the company also experienced a decline of 43.58% in the market share.
- Ather Energy Pvt Ltd sold 13,167 units in April 2025. For comparison, the company registered sales of 4,144 units in April 2024, reporting an impressive growth of 217.74%. Moreover, on the market share front, the company also experienced an increase of 210.73% this month.
- Greaves Electric Mobility Pvt Ltd clocked in a total sales unit of 4,000 in April 2025, as compared to 2,512 units sold in April 2024. Due to this, the company saw a growth of 59.24% this month. Apart from this, the company experienced an increase in its market share by 55.73% for April 2025.
- Piaggio sold 2,563 units in April 2025, a 11.65% decrease from the 2,901 units sold in April 2024. The company’s market share also dropped slightly to 13.60%.
- Classic Legends, which offers retro-style motorcycles, sold 2,391 units in April 2025. This represents a 15.69% drop from the 2,836 units sold in April 2024, and their market share declined to 17.55%.
- The “Others Including EV” category showed an increase of 9.41% YoY, with sales of 10,692 units, compared to 9,772 in April 2024.
