2025 Royal Enfield Hunter 350: Same Price Other Options | BikeDekho TechTricks365

For the same price, you can get a bike with twice the power!

Royal Enfield recently launched the 2025 Hunter 350 in India with quite a few changes. It now gets three new colour schemes, an updated rear suspension setup, revised seat cushioning and handlebars, LED headlamp and also a slip-assist clutch. The bike is offered in two variants: Retro and Metro.

The Retro is priced at Rs 1,49,900, whereas the Metro comes in single-tone, priced at Rs 1,76,750 and dual-tone, priced at Rs 1,81,750 (all prices ex-showroom, Chennai). That said, all the updates apply to the Metro variant only. If you feel spending Rs 1.81 lakh on the Hunter is a bit too much, we have compiled a list of top 5 bikes you can buy for a similar price:

Yamaha R15

The Japanese entry-level supersport from Yamaha’s stable, is the best beginner-friendly fully faired sportsbike you can buy. The Yamaha R15 offers sporty looks, a smooth and refined engine and exceptional handling.

The base variant costs Rs 1,84,400, offering good value for money for those who are looking for the best performance faired bike under Rs 2 lakh. It is also fairly well equipped in terms of features including a traction control system, LCD console with basic smartphone connectivity, dual-channel ABS and a slip-and-assist clutch.

Hero Xpulse 210

For a similar price of Hunter 350, you can get a very capable dual-sport motorcycle from Hero’s stable. The Xpulse range practically established the affordable offroading motorcycle segment in the Indian market with its long travel suspension, spoke wheels with block-pattern tyres, and a fantastic chassis that performs incredibly well off the road.

For around the price of the top-end Hunter, you can buy the top-end Hero Xpulse 210, costing Rs 1,85,800. It’s ideal for those who are looking for a rugged motorcycle that’s capable of going off road and also handling bad roads with ease. However, unlike the Hunter’s accessible 790mm seat height, the Xpulse has a 40mm taller seat, at 830mm. That said, the Xpulse is a whole 11kg lighter, while being slightly more powerful.

Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z

The Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is the biggest Pulsar launched by the Indian brand yet. The bike is priced at Rs 1,81,318 (ex-showroom, Delhi). So, for the price of the Hunter 350, you get a bike that is twice as powerful, producing 40PS and 35Nm.

The Pulsar NS400Z also comes with an all-LED lighting setup, smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth for call and SMS alerts, adjustable levers, and switchable traction control. It also gets four riding modes: Road, Sport, Rain, and Off-road. Summing up, the Pulsar offers insane value for money for the sheer performance it packs. It is also the cheapest bike that makes 40PS of power. If you’re looking for brute performance in a streetfighter package, the Pulsar NS400Z is the best bet at this price range.

Ather 450 Apex

The only scooter on the list, the Ather 450 Apex is priced quite steep at Rs 1,89,999 (effective ex-showroom price, Bengaluru). But, the price does justify the performance it has on offer. Oh, it’s also loaded to the brim with features including a full-fledged navigation, massive touchscreen, unique colour scheme with semi-transparent side panels, and a large 22-litre underseat storage.

The scooter can accelerate from a standstill to 40 kmph in just 2.9 seconds, quicker than most of the petrol-powered scooters on sale in India. For the price of Hunter 350, here you get an electric scooter with exhilarating performance, comfortable seating position, while being fairly practical.

Triumph Speed T4

The Triumph Speed T4 is a neo-retro roadster from the British manufacturer, priced at Rs 1,99,999 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is a toned-down version of the well-appreciated Triumph Speed 400. The bike gets a 398.15cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 30PS of power, 10PS more than the Hunter 350, for just a fair premium over the Enfield.

If you need a bike with good comfort, torquey performance and premium build quality, the Triumph Speed T4 is a good alternative you can choose over the Hunter 350. It is also the most affordable Triumph bike in India.
