Odysse Electric has launched a new electric sports bike called the Evoqis Lite. This bike is priced at Rs 1.18 lakh (ex-showroom), and is now India’s most affordable electric sports bike. The Evoqis Lite promises a range of 90 km on a single charge. Moreover, it can hit a top speed of 75 kmph. This bike is made for daily rides due to its smart features and bold design. A Smart and Sporty Electric Bike
The Evoqis Lite comes with many advanced features. It has keyless ignition, multiple ride modes, and an anti-theft lock. Moreover, it also gets a motor cut-off switch for better safety. The Odysse bike is available in five bright colours, including Cobalt Blue, Fire Red, and Lime Green.
Furthermore, the design bears a strong resemblance to a Kawasaki Ninja 300, particularly in the Lime Green colour. It has dual headlights, a transparent windscreen, and sharp clip-on handlebars. The split-seat setup and stylish tail lights contribute to its sporty feel.
Performance and Hardware Details
Odysse Evoqis Lite runs on a 60V battery and promises a range of 90 km. The company did not reveal the battery’s exact capacity but promises good daily performance. It powers a rear hub motor that can reach up to 75 kmph.
Interestingly, despite its lower top speed, it gets dual disc brakes at the front. Furthermore, it features a single disc at the rear, which provides strong braking power. The wheels and body design remind many of bigger petrol bikes.
An Affordable Gateway to Electric Sports Bikes
The Evoqis Lite is Odysse’s third electric motorcycle after Evoqis and Vader. Moreover, it acts as an entry point for buyers wanting a faired electric bike. The Rs 1.18 lakh pricing makes it very attractive for young riders.
However, it is unclear whether this price includes subsidies. Besides motorcycles, Odysse also offers several scooters for personal and delivery use.
