Hero Bikes And Scooters Production Paused At Four Of Its Factories: Dharuhera, Gurugram, Haridwar, and Neemrana | BikeDekho TechTricks365

The factories will be closed from April 17 to 19 2025, but Hero is taking all the steps to not affect the supply. Here’s how:

Quick News Highlights:

  • The company states short-term supply issues and facility maintenance as the reason

  • Operations at Tirupati and Halol plants to continue as normal

  • Hero says it will not affect the demand in any way

Hero MotoCorp, India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has announced a temporary pause of production at four out of six manufacturing facilities across India. The company stated that the Dharuhera (Haryana), Gurugram (Haryana), Haridwar (Uttarakhand), and Neemrana (Rajasthan) factories will remain closed for production from April 17 to 19, 2025. The decision has been taken as part of a short-term supply optimisation.

In an official statement, Hero mentioned that this planned pause will be used for maintenance work and to make improvements to the facility. The company confirmed that production at these four plants would resume from April 21, 2025 onwards. Meanwhile, its other two production facilities located in Tirupati (Andhra Pradesh) and Halol (Gujarat) will continue to operate as per usual.

Hero has assured its customers and business partners that this temporary production pause will not affect its ability to meet their product demand in both domestic and global markets. The company has also added that any deficits in production will be recovered in the following month, in May 2025. So buyers will not need to worry about any delays in purchasing their favourite Hero bike or scooter.

This announcement comes at a time when its main rival, Honda Motorcycle And Scooter India (HMSI) had almost caught up in terms of sales figures this last financial year, FY2025. Honda was just about 68,000 units behind Hero during this time period. The Jaipur-based manufacturer does not seem to be unfazed and remains optimistic. It plans to expand its product range this year, led by the launch of the Karizma 250, Xoom 160, and possibly the XPulse 421.
