Honda Motorcycle And Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the 2025 Dio 125 at Rs 96,749 (ex-showroom Pune). The updated Dio 125 gets new features, a new engine tune, and changes to the colour options. The scooter is now available at Honda dealerships across the country.
Pricing
The 2025 Honda Dio 125 is priced starting from Rs 96,749, while the top-end H-Smart variant comes in at Rs 1,02,144. In comparison, the outgoing model was priced from Rs 87,951 to Rs 94,850 (all prices ex-showroom Pune).
Engine
The 2025 Dio 125 is powered by a 123.92cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, two-valve engine that is now OBD-2B compliant. It produces 8.3PS, 10.5Nm (8.28PS, 10.4Nm previously). It also features an engine idle start-stop system that should help with increasing mileage of the scooter.
Features
The Dio 125 now gets a 4.2-inch TFT console with navigation and call/message alerts – this console is shared with other new 2025 and OBD-2B Honda bikes and scooters. It displays information such as mileage, trip meters, eco mode, and distance to empty. It also has a USB Type-C charging port. The top-spec H-smart version comes with the addition of a Smart key (keyless start-stop system).
Design
The Honda Dio 125 now gets refreshed graphics and five updated colour schemes: Mat Marvel Blue Metallic, Pearl Deep Ground Gray, Pearl Sports Yellow, Pearl Igneous Black, and Imperial Red. It was previously available in a total of eight colour options.
Rivals
The Honda Dio 125 continues to rival other sporty 125cc scooters such as the TVS Ntorq 125, the Suzuki Avenis 125, the Yamaha RayZR 125, and the recently launched Hero Xoom 125.
