Royal Enfield recently launched its much-awaited bike, the 2025 Classic 650, at a price of Rs 3.37 lakh (ex-showroom). By launching this bike, the brand adds a fresh new option to its 650cc lineup. Now, this bike joins the Super Meteor 650 and becomes another strong alternative in the middleweight cruiser segment.
The new Royal Enfield Classic 650 evokes memories of the old Classic 500 motorcycle, which was discontinued due to changes in emission regulations. While the older Classic 500 had a rough and raw feel, the Classic 650 offers smoother performance and better elegance. It keeps the vintage styling alive while adding modern comfort and strength, which makes it a great pick for classic bike fans.

2025 Royal Enfield Classic 650 vs Super Meteor 650: Engine
As we said, both the bikes share the same 648cc parallel twin air/oil-cooled engine. It produces a maximum power of 46.39 bhp and a maximum torque of 52.3 Nm. Moreover, the engines are paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
Both the bikes have dual-channel ABS, but the only difference is that the Classic 650 has hydraulic disc brakes. And comfort-wise, both have telescopic and twin-shock suspensions.

Royal Enfield’s famous classic look remains intact in the Classic 650, which takes inspiration from the Classic 350. Curved fenders, chrome dual exhausts, a teardrop fuel tank, and an extensive colour selection are some of its design features. For everyday riding, it provides a relaxed and comfortable riding position.
Super Meteor 650, on the other hand, is a cruiser. It has forward-mounted footpegs for an upright riding position, sweeping handlebars, and a scooped seat. The basic shape is larger and more dangerous, better suited for longer highway trips. Although the two motorcycles share the same chassis, their ergonomics and aesthetic appeal accommodate different riding preferences.

The latest Classic 650 features a semi-digital console with a small digital display that has a Navigation system for turn-by-turn directions. Also, it comes with an LED headlamp and tail lamp, adjustable levers, and a USB Type-C charging port.
On the other hand, the Super Meteor has a digital-analogue instrument cluster with a floating LCD screen and built-in Tripper navigation. It is also equipped with an LED headlamp, which enhances visibility and modern appeal.
