They have each and every bike ranging from regular commuter bikes to sports bikes. The most sought-after bikes in these brands are their VFM bikes, i.e., the Bajaj Pulsar 125 and the TVS Raider 125. The Bajaj Pulsar 125 uses a 124.4cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It generates a power output of 11.64bhp at 8,500 rpm and a torque output of 10.8 Nm at 6,500 rpm. This engine unit is also fitted with a 5-speed manual transmission.

 

The TVS Raider 125, on the other hand, uses a 124.8cc single-cylinder engine that’s air and oil-cooled. It generates 11.2bhp of power at 7,500 rpm and 11.2 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The Raider 125 also gets a 5-speed manual transmission. Both bikes have a comparable amount of power, but the Raider delivers a bit more torque at lower rpm.

The Pulsar 125 has a fuel tank capacity of 11 liters and a weight of 142 kg. Its ground clearance is 165 mm, while the wheelbase is 1,320 mm. The TVS Raider 125, on the other hand, features a 10-liter fuel tank and a weight of 123 kg. It features a better ground clearance of 180 mm and a wheelbase of 1,326 mm. In terms of suspension, both bikes have telescopic front forks. However, Raider has a 5-step adjustable rear monoshock and Pulsar 125 has a twin gas shock at the back.

 

Overall, the Raiders’ higher ground clearance and lighter weight could offer improved maneuverability and comfort on rough roads.

It offers an optional USB charging port, riding modes, LED lighting, and a digital instrument console. The Bajaj Pulsar 125 includes a semi-digital instrument cluster with an analog tachometer, split grab rails, and an LED tail lamp. However, it lacks riding modes and full LED lighting. If advanced features are important to you, the Raider 125 has an edge.

Pulsar 125 has a retro look with a wolf-eye headlamp, shrouded muscular fuel tank, and aggressive rear LED tail lamp. Its design is not the most updated, but it still has some good road presence.

The Raider 125, on the other hand, has a modern naked design with a unique LED headlamp featuring LED Daytime Running Lamps, a belly pan, and a sleek LED tail lamp. Its design is fresh and appealing, especially to younger riders. If a modern aesthetic is your preference, the Raider 125 stands out.

Currently, the Bajaj Pulsar 125 is available in the price range of ₹81,843 to ₹94,957, whereas the TVS Raider 125 costs between ₹84,869 and ₹1.04 Lakh. The base price of the Raider is a bit more, but it comes with more contemporary design and features.
