Quick News Highlights

  • The 2025 Yamaha Aerox 155 Version S has been launched

  • Priced at Rs 1,53,430 (ex-showroom Delhi)

  • Gets 2 new colours: Racing Blue and Ice Fluo Vermillion

The 2025 Yamaha Aerox 155 Version S has been launched in India, and it is now priced at Rs 1,53,430 (ex-showroom Delhi), Rs 1,730 more than the previous generation model. The scooter is now offered in 2 new colour schemes: Racing Blue and Ice Fluo Vermillion. Along with this, the scooter now also gets an OBD-2B compliant engine. Here’s everything you need to know:

The first major change with this update is the addition of the two new colours. The Racing Blue colour scheme offers the iconic Yamaha blue finish on the apron, rims and body panels. The new colour looks really good, and makes the Aerox 155 Version S feel more in line with the sporty offerings from Yamaha, like the Yamaha R15 V4.

The Ice Fluo Vermillion features a black and white combo on the apron and body panels. There’s a neat-looking red Aerox branding as well. The red colour is also present on the scooter’s rims as well. This colour is a bit flashy and makes sense for those who want something that stands out.

Other than this, the scooter’s engine is now OBD-2B compliant. There are no changes otherwise. It is still powered by the same 155cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine which outputs 15PS and 13.9Nm. It is suspended on a telescopic fork and twin-rear shock absorbers. It rolls on 14-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. Braking setup consists of a 230mm disc at the front and a 130mm drum at the rear.

The scooter gets a lot of features such as a smart key and keyless ignition, a traction control system and safety features such as single-channel ABS. The scooter goes up against other maxi-style scooters in the market such as the Aprilia SXR 160, and the Hero Xoom 160.
