2025 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Launched at Rs. 1.54 Lakh in India TechTricks365

TVS Motors launched the 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V in India at a price of Rs. 1.54 lakh. It is Rs. 5000 more expensive than the previous version. However, the TVS bike comes with several new updates in terms of engine, design, specifications and features. Moreover, the brand launched this model on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of the Apache. Check the full details of the 2025 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V here.

What’s New in 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V?

TVS made this model more attractive by adding striking red alloy wheels and new graphics on the body panels. Additionally, now it is available in three colour options, which are Glossy Black, Matte Black, and Granite Grey.

Other than visual enhancement, it gets a new 37mm USD fork and a new hydroformed handlebar by replacing the clip-on handlebar. One of the main problems with the clip-on configuration is that it is costly to replace in the case of an accident. The clip-on’s one side costs about Rs 2,500, but the handlebar is probably far less expensive and simpler to repair.

With the handlebar providing a little more upright riding position, we also anticipate a modest improvement in the bike’s ergonomics. And aesthetically, the motorcycle remains the same.

New OBD-2B Engine

A 197.75cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine still powers the bike, producing the same 20.51 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 17.25 Nm at 7,250 rpm. But now this engine is compliant with the latest OBD2B emission norms. It is paired to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.

Features of 2025 Apache RTR 200 4V

It has an LCD console and TVS SmartXonnect for smartphone connectivity. Features like turn-by-turn navigation and SMS/call notifications are added to the console. Additionally, the bike has three riding modes: Sport, Rain, and Urban.

The bike’s power output and ABS intervention levels are modulated by the riding modes. Rain mode and urban mode have the strongest ABS intervention, and power is limited to 17.3PS and 16.51Nm. Other 200cc streetfighters like the Honda Hornet 2.0 and the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 are competitors of the bike.
