2025 Suzuki Access 125 Top-end Variant – Ride Connect TFT Edition: All Features Explained | BikeDekho TechTricks365

The recently launched Suzuki Access 125 Ride Connect TFT Edition is by far the most feature-packed variant ever from Suzuki

Suzuki recently updated its best selling two-wheeler in India, the Access 125 with a TFT display, making it a lot more feature loaded than before. The TFT display is available in the top-spec ‘Ride Connect TFT Edition’ priced at Rs 1,01,900 (ex-showroom Delhi). Let’s have a closer look at all the features this family scooter has to offer:

New TFT Display

The new Ride Connect variant of the Access 125 gets a 4.2-inch TFT display which shows all the necessary information. It shows speed, fuel level, time, battery voltage, trip meter and odometer. This display also supports smartphone connectivity, just like its LCD counterpart. It shows SMS/call alerts, turn-by-turn navigation and weather alerts which makes it quite convenient to use on a day-to-day basis.

The new display allows for a slightly better viewing experience with better brightness, contrast and colours, when compared to the LCD screen. That said, the set of information available on the TFT display is the same as the one with the LCD console.

Storage Space

The Access 125 is one of the most practical scooters in the Indian market as it gets a decently large 24.4-litre underseat storage. Along with this, it gets 2 cubby holes at the front which provides extra space for storing smaller items like a water bottle, mobile phone etc. It also gets two utility hooks for securing carry bags as well.

Other than this, the scooter gets a spacious floor board area which should also let you stow your backpack or grocery bags.

Engine Stop Start Tech

Suzuki has given the Access 125 an engine stop start tech which should help it in getting slightly better fuel efficiency figures. When this feature is on, it monitors for how long the scooter is kept at idle rpm, if the duration is long enough, then it shuts the engine down and helps in saving fuel.

Once the rider twists the throttle, the scooter starts seamlessly. The scooter also comes with a silent starter for noiseless starts.

Other Features

Other features on the Access 125 include all LED lights including a neatly integrated DRL on the apron. The scooter gets a USB charging port as well, placed above the left side cubby hole, which helps in conveniently charging a mobile phone while riding.  Note that the cubby hole does not have a lid, so your phone may bounce around and possibly fall off while riding on bad roads.

It also gets a fuel filler cap at the back which can be unlocked using the front key area itself, making refueling a little more convenient than using an underseat fuel filler cap. There’s also a parking brake to allow the scooter to be securely parked on inclined roads. The scooter also comes with a hazard switch, which will come in handy if you were to pull over on a busy road.

BikeDekho Says

The Access 125 was already a brilliant family scooter offering a blend of great performance, looks and utility. However, with the new Ride Connect TFT Edition, the scooter is a bit more premium than before.

That said, the new TFT variant is Rs 6,800 more expensive than the Ride Connect variant available with the LCD screen. The premium is a bit too much for what at the end of the day is a scooter with a console that offers a better viewing experience than the other variant. You’re not really losing out on much even if you go for the variant with the LCD screen as the information is pretty much the same as the one in the TFT screen. The rest of the features are also present in both variants.
