A retro, naked, adventure or even an electric motorcycle can be considered over the 390 Enduro R, if you’re not into trail riding

KTM recently launched the 2025 390 Enduro R in India at a price of Rs 3,36,500 (ex-showroom Delhi). The motorcycle gets some serious hardware which makes it a very capable trail bike. If you’re not into hardcore off-roading, there are a lot of other options which can be considered over the Enduro R in the same price bracket:

TVS Apache RR 310 

Price – Rs 2.92 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)

The Apache RR 310 is a fully faired sport bike from TVS. The motorcycle looks quite appealing, thanks to its sharp looks and aggressive styling. It gets a 312cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor which makes 38PS and 29Nm. This engine has been praised for its exciting power delivery and tractability. The motorcycle uses a trellis frame, along with an inverted fork and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock. It offers excellent handling, and is forgiving enough for those who want to push the bike on a racetrack too. 

In terms of features the RR 310 is one of the most loaded motorcycles out there. It gets a 5-inch TFT display which supports smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and SMS/call alerts. It also gets cornering traction control, cornering ABS, bi-directional quickshifter, cruise control, rear lift control, wheelie control and multiple riding modes. It’s ideal for those who want a faired supersports that can commute as well as be at home on a racetrack.

Royal Enfield Classic 650

Price – Rs 3.37 lakh for the Hotrod variant (ex-showroom Delhi)

The Royal Enfield Classic 650 is a retro motorcycle based on the Super Meteor 650. The motorcycle gets the iconic design from the Classic 350 and looks absolutely fantastic. The Classic 650 gets the tried and tested 649cc parallel-twin, air oil-cooled  motor which makes 47PS and 52Nm. This engine has been praised for its smooth and linear power delivery. At 243kg kerb, the Classic 650 is currently the heaviest Royal Enfield motorcycle on sale, but once you get moving, it feels effortless. 

In terms of features it gets an analogue speedo, with a small LCD screen which shows trip information and fuel capacity. Other than this the motorcycle gets the tripper navigation as standard which allows for smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and SMS/call alerts. It’s a great bike for those who want a heritage motorcycle with an engine that’s powerful enough for highway rides.

Yamaha MT03

Price – Rs 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)

The Yamaha MT03 is a street naked motorcycle based on the fully faired R3. The motorcycle looks quite good with aggressive styling and sharp body panels. It uses the same engine as the Yamaha R3, which is a 321cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor which makes 42PS and 29.5Nm. This engine has been praised all over the world for its refinement, reliability and performance. The MT03 gets a diamond type frame along with conventional telescopic fork and rear monoshock. 

In terms of features it only gets all LED lights, LCD screen and dual channel ABS. If you’re in the market for a smooth parallel-twin streetfighter with Japanese engineering, the MT03 ticks all the right boxes.

2025 KTM 390 Adventure 

Price – 3.68 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)

The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure is a proper adventure tourer with a tall stance and purpose-built design. It uses a 399cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor which makes 47PS and 39Nm. This engine makes slightly more power and torque than the previous generation model and offers exciting performance – be it on the highways or on the trails. It uses a split trellis along with WP Apex inverted fork and a rear monoshock. Both front and rear suspension are fully adjustable and get 200mm front and 205mm rear wheel travel. Along with this the motorcycle also gets a 21-inch front and a 17-inch rear tubeless spoke wheel setup. These bits also help it handle really well off the road.

In terms of features the 390 Adventure gets a 5-inch TFT display, all LED lights, switchable ABS, switchable traction control, bi-directional quickshifter, cruise control and ride modes: Street, Rain and Off-road. All in all, the 390 Adventure is an excellent option if you’re looking for an ADV that can do it all – commute, tour, as well as off-roading.

Ultraviolette F77 Superstreet

Price – Rs 2.99 lakh 

The F77 Superstreet is an electric motorcycle from Ultraviolette Automotive. The e-bike looks quite interesting with its futuristic design and sharp body panels. It gets a 7.1kWh battery pack which makes 27kW of peak power and 90Nm. In terms of performance, it can sprint from 0 to 60 kmph in 2.9 seconds, and 0 to 100kmph in 7.8 seconds, along with 155kmph top speed (claimed). The e-bike has a claimed range of 211km IDC (Indian driving conditions). The F77 gets a steel trellis frame and 41mm inverted fork along with a rear monoshock with a preload adjustability. The wide handlebars in the SuperStreet (compared to the F77 Mach 2) makes it easier to change directions, and the e-bike is also comfortable enough for everyday commutes. The motor too offers impressive performance, and will make you smile from ear to ear.

In terms of features, it gets a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity. Other features include electronic riding aids such as traction control and regen braking, with the former offered as an optional extra. The F77 SuperStreet is a good choice for those who want an electric bike that’s not only affordable in terms of running costs, but also offers enough performance for city commutes, and short-distance weekend highway rides.
