Kawasaki has launched the 2025 Z900 in India. It is priced at Rs 9.52 lakh (ex-showroom). This popular middleweight street fighter now comes with more features, improved electronics, and a fresh design.
It is only Rs 14,000 more expensive than the old model but offers much more. The bike now looks sharper, feels smarter, and rides safer. The Z900 now competes with the Triumph Street Triple R and Honda CB650R.
It is also more affordable than the Ducati Monster in the same segment. Moreover, the delivery of Kawasaki Z900 will begin soon, and bookings are now open across India. Let’s know what’s new in the 2025 Kawasaki Z900.
Sharper Design and New Colours
The 2025 Z900 now has a more aggressive and modern look. It gets a new LED headlight and a sleeker LED tail lamp. The fuel tank is muscular, with sharp extensions for a bold style. The bike is available in two dual-tone colour options, including black with red and black with green. Its design is inspired by the smaller Z500, which adds a fresh appeal. The split seat is redesigned for more comfort without changing seat height.
New Features and Electronic Upgrades
The Z900 now has a 5-inch colour TFT display with Bluetooth support. You can now check bike data and manage calls using the new screen. Moreover, it comes with a ride-by-wire throttle for better control.
The Kawasaki bike also offers cruise control and a bi-directional quickshifter as standard. Moreover, it now supports cornering ABS and traction control due to a six-axis IMU. You also get multiple ride modes: Sport, Road, Rain, and a custom mode. These updates make the Z900 smarter and safer to ride.
Engine and Mechanical Changes
The engine is still a 948cc inline-four, liquid-cooled unit. It now makes 125 hp and 98.6 Nm of torque, with smoother power delivery. Kawasaki has updated the ECU and camshaft for better low-end torque. Furthermore, the new setup gives up to 16% better fuel efficiency.
The 6-speed gearbox now includes a bi-directional quickshifter. The bike uses the same steel trellis frame from the previous model. The bike includes a preload- and rebound-adjustable USD fork and monoshock.
Furthermore, the 2025 Z900 bike has been improved with new radially mounted Nissin callipers and larger 300mm front discs. It rides on 17-inch wheels with better Dunlop Sportmax Q5A tyres. The added features and safety systems make it a strong value-for-money option.
