2025 Hero Vida VX2 Plus Variant Spied Ahead Of Launch On July 1: Could Be Rebranded Vida Z | BikeDekho TechTricks365

A more minimalistic design than the Vida V2, could be more affordable in terms of pricing too

Quick Highlights:

  • Upcoming Vida VX2 Plus variant spotted ahead of launch

  • Looks similar to the Vida Z

  • Will be launched on July 1, 2025

Hero MotoCorp officially sent out invites for the launch of a new electric scooter all set to debut on July 1. Now, after the trademark of the Vida VX2 range surfaced online, spy shots of the scooter also leaked recently. The new spy shots suggest that the VX2 is essentially a rebranded version of the Vida Z, which was showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, back in January, 2025. The leaked photos were taken at a Vida dealership, which shows a scooter in a vibrant matte yellow color with a  VX2 Plus badge on its side panel. Let’s have a closer look at the spy shots.

In terms of the design, the VX2 looks identical to the Vida Z almost entirely, featuring the same body lines, silhouette, and LED tail-lamp. The VX2 seems to have a 12-inch wheel setup at both ends which is similar to the existing Vida V2 lineup. Spy shots also reveal additional features, including a digital instrument cluster operated via a joystick-style controller on the left switchgear, an ‘SOS’ button and a compact front storage compartment.  Unlike the Vida V2, which gets a keyless start system, the VX2 gets a traditional key, which is confirmed by the visible key slot in the photos. The e-scooter also gets a front disc brake, telescopic fork and dual shock absorbers at the rear.

The digital display on this e-scooter looks slightly smaller than the 7-inch TFT console of the Vida V2, which could be a cost cutting move. It also gets a single-piece seat unlike the split seat in the V2. The VX2 will be offered in three variants, VX2 GO, VX2 Plus and VX2 Pro – as per the trademark filings. The Vida VX2 Plus could cost around Rs 79,000 (ex-showroom). For perspective, the current Vida V2 Plus costs Rs 85,300 (ex-showroom Delhi). It will rival the Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, Ola S1X and the Ather Rizta.
