2025 Hero Splendor Plus Spied Testing Before Launch | BikeDekho TechTricks365

The motorcycle comes with a neat new colour scheme, and is likely to get an OBD-2B compliant engine

Quick Highlights –

  • The 2025 Hero Splendor Plus was recently spotted testing

  • Looks similar to the on going model but gets a new paint scheme

  • The updated bike is also likely to get an OBD-2B compliant motor

The 2025 Hero Splendor Plus was recently spotted testing before its official launch. The motorcycle in the spy shots looks similar to the outgoing model but comes in a new paint scheme. Here’s a brief analysis of the spy shots.

What The Spy Shots Reveal

The motorcycle gets similar styling as the current  model of the Hero Splendor Plus although it was seen with an all new dual-tone paint scheme. Interestingly, just the fuel tank is red in colour, while the rest of the bodywork is in black. This is similar to what Royal Enfield does with some of its bikes,  including the Classic 350.

In terms of the design, Hero has not fiddled with the looks as its target customers anyway like the familiarity of the design. Other than this, it also  gets silver coloured alloy wheels and fork. The bike also retains the twin-pod analogue console that has the basic information (speed, fuel level and tell-tale lights).

What Can Be Expected

It seems that Hero is doing additional tests to the OBD-2B-compliant engine in the 2025 Hero Splendor Plus. However, it is unlikely to have any changes to the output figures, and will get the same 97.2cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which produces 7.91PS and 8.05Nm. In terms of features the motorcycle will get i3S tech, along with a side stand engine cut-off feature.

BikeDekho Says

Just like the disc brake-equipped version of the Splendor that we saw recently, it seems that Hero wants to freshen things up for the base drum variant too, with new colour schemes. Apart from red, expect Hero to offer a few more colours too. Expect the price to go up by around Rs 1,000 over the existing model, which retails at Rs 77,176 (ex-showroom Delhi).
