The winglets and fairings have also been updated for improved aerodynamics and cooling. The swingarm is no longer single-sided but a double-sided swingarm for improved stability and performance. The design is more aggressive and race-oriented.

The new Panigale V4 is fitted with a 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine. It produces 216PS at 13,500rpm and 120.9Nm at 11,250rpm. The engine is now 1 kg lighter and meets Euro5+ emission norms. The six-speed gearbox includes a slip-and-assist clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter for smoother gear changes.
The Panigale V4 now features a lighter MotoGP-inspired aluminium alloy front frame. The suspension includes a 43mm fully adjustable Showa BPF fork at the front and a Sachs monoshock at the rear. The Panigale V4 S gets fully adjustable Öhlins suspension. Furthermore, the bike has dual 330mm discs with Brembo 4-piston calipers at the front and a 245mm disc at the rear.

Ducati has equipped the new Panigale V4 with a 6.9-inch TFT display with 1280x480p resolution. It also has smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth. The bike features launch control, traction control, wheelie control, slide control, and a pit limiter.
