Benelli has launched the updated 2025 TRK 502 and TRK 502X in India. Both adventure bikes now come with more features and better equipment. However, their prices have also gone up by around Rs 35,000 to Rs 40,000.
These updates aim to make the bikes more comfortable and tech-friendly for touring and adventure lovers. Moreover, Benelli has added segment-first features like heated grips and heated seats. Let’s explore what’s new in these two ADV bikes.
Benelli TRK 502: Road-Friendly and Now More Feature-Rich
The Benelli TRK 502 is made for highway touring and light off-road use. It has 17-inch alloy wheels and an underbelly exhaust, which shows its road-biased nature. Moreover, the biggest change is the new 5-inch TFT screen with turn-by-turn navigation. It also gets heated grips, a heated seat, and TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System).
The Benelli bike now has a lighter aluminium swingarm, helping to reduce some weight. However, it still weighs over 228 kg dry. The new price of the TRK 502 is Rs 6.20 lakh (ex-showroom), up by Rs 40,000.
Benelli TRK 502X: Off-Road Focus with Tubeless Spoke Wheels
The Benelli TRK 502X is built for off-road lovers. It used to have spoked wheels, but now they are tubeless. The wheel sizes remain the same: 19 inches at the front and 17 inches at the rear.
It has a side-mounted exhaust, an 860mm seat height, and 210mm ground clearance. Moreover, similar to the TRK 502, it also has the new TFT display and other features. The Benelli TRK 502X price Starts from Rs 6.70 lakh and goes upto Rs 6.85 lakh.
Same Engine, But Now with Segment-First Features
Both bikes use the same 500cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine. It makes 47.59ps power and 46Nm torque, with a 6-speed gearbox. There’s no slipper clutch or quickshifter.
Although the engine is good, the bikes are still heavy. However, features like heated grips and seats are a first in this segment in India.
In comparison, the Honda NX500 is lighter and cheaper, though less powerful. Apart from this, this segment includes Moto Morini X-Cape 650 and the upcoming CFMoto 450MT.
